We are looking for a talented Digital Programme manager who will be responsible for the successful delivery of a new website. The role will broadly involve: – Managing multiple interrelated projects and work-streams to improve the digital experience for residents and local business owners:
Developing and managing a robust website implementation plan – Using data to drive decisions, such as; Google Analytics, customer feedback, service dashboards, GovMetrics – Implementation and ‘go-live’ for new website and related systems, including a beta approach as a minimal viable product which will run alongside the current site – Overseeing Content management and delivery across departments, as well as auditing current information on the website – Business case development both from a Customer Experience angle and technical feasibility – Ensuring clear lines of communication with key stakeholders – Thorough document management, including; capturing requirements, communication plan, data flow diagrams, risks, issues, RACI etc. – Working at pace and delivering to fortnightly sprints, using GDS principles:
Qualification – Essential
GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Educated to degree level or equivalent standard
Recognised programme or project management accreditation – e.g. PMP, Agile etc.
Relevant professional qualification- e.g. Business Change Management disciplines, Lean process re-engineering, Six Sigma etc. , Relevant change management/ communications qualification, Relevant Digital/ ICT qualifications – e.g. ITIL etc.

Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
Experience in managing large-scale projects in complex and challenging environments.
Experience of project delivery through overseeing multi-disciplinary project teams and encouraging them to meet personal and organisational objectives.
Experience of delivering projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
Experience of report writing and communications for a variety of audiences, demonstrating numeracy and literacy, and applying expert knowledge
Be effective at planning, monitoring and reviewing
Possess in-depth understanding of Agile, its values and principles, including backlog grooming, release and sprint planning, burn-up/down charts, and more
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities at the same time
Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to interact effectively with people at all levels in an organisation including senior level executives
An ability to respond to the unpredictable volume of work, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new ways to accomplish work activities and objectives
Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow-through
Possess organisational strengths, attention-to-detail, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead, motivate, and direct a cross-functional project workgroups/ teams.
Ability to work autonomously to meet the objectives of the organisation
Enhanced CRB/DBS; on the disclosure & barring service update system- Essential
Able to provide Two Years of references – Essential
