Responsibilities
To support the provision of IT infrastructure in Schools, respond to customer requests, problem resolution and service request operation that meets the needs of the Schools IT Support Service customer base:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English & Mathematics
BSc in the relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience
Schools based IT support experience is desirable.
PowerUser –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Adobe, Outlook and Social Media
To apply for this position candidates MUST possess the following skills and experience
Proficient understanding of the IT infrastructure, operating systems, configurations and the IT applications and service processes used within the organisation
Proven experience in the application of incident management tools
Good aware of the purpose and composition of a service level agreement (SLA);
Understanding of the relationship between an SLA, and OLA,
Knowledge of the underpinning of the contract for the supply of services
Knowledge of the methods and techniques for risk management, business impact analysis, countermeasures and contingency arrangements relating to the serious disruption of IT services
Knowledge of the corporate, industry and professional standards, policies, regulations, compliance and codes of conduct associated with the role
Able to provide second line support in the installation and maintenance of system software
Able to demonstrate experience of operating systems, data management products, office automation products and other utility software
Proven ability in networks, servers, information integration, information security controls and web solutions
Experience of working remotely or on customer site ensuring the integrity of changes and the protection of customer data
Substantial experience of first-line support, user account administration, Active Directory support,
Knowledge the use of software, compliance of software licences, the procurement of ICT products and services & data recovery
Experience of providing statistics and associated information for performance reports and management information
Able to maintain the configuration of the management system,
Experience of documenting details of all hardware/software, installed, removed or changed
Able to provide Three Years of references – essential
Enhanced DBS on the update system – essential
