Our local authority client in East London is recruiting Partnership and Service Delivery Manager: to join the service leadership management team. To see children as children within youth justice services, treat them fairly and help them to build on their strengths so they can rehabilitate and make positive contributions to society.

Responsibilities:
To be responsible for the management of a multi-disciplinary team of caseworkers and specialist posts from partner agencies such as Probation and Police, ensuring the service provided to young people is underpinned by effective youth justice practice:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Degree or higher in a relevant subject such as social work or law
Accredited qualification in managing and supervising staff
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel & Outlook – Case management system – Essential

Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential

Proven ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is – essential
Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Youth Justice System, particularly regarding statutory orders and risk and case management
Knowledge and experience of working with children and young people aged 8 to 19 who display criminal, angry, difficult, challenging and aggressive behaviour
Knowledge and understanding of the best practice, theory and research relating to a range of criminological, social work, youth justice and therapeutic interventions
Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Youth Justice and Welfare Law and Practice experience regarding Youth Justice and Youth Court Systems
Able to provide an example of direct work, interventions and risk and case management regarding young people involved in crime and exploitation
Demonstrable knowledge of Anti-Discriminatory and Anti Oppressive practice together with an ability to integrate these into all areas of practice
Knowledge and experience of performance management and quality assurance in relation to the delivery of high-quality case management
Experience of working as part of performance management and quality assurance system to monitor all aspects of risk and case management and provide high-quality service delivery
Able to provide Five Years of references – essential
Enhanced DBS on the update system – essential
