We are looking for Finance Analyst – Community Hubs, To be responsible for leading on financial modelling and management across the programme and the Community Hubs: multi-agency, public-facing facilities which will support a range of community-led, council and health functions. You will collaborate with colleagues, partner organisations and the wider public, in supporting and using a range of data to inform learning, evaluation, decision-making and wider activity

You will be responsible for supporting the development of the financial & operational model for the successful delivery of the community hubs. you will play an important role in shaping how the team operates and empowering colleagues to lead change, as well as ensuring that local residents feed into your area of work.

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Formal qualification in financial management or equivalent
Minimum 2-5 years of working on financial analysis or modelling projects
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel, Outlook
Essential – Skills, Abilities & Experience
Experience of working with finance & service lead collegues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to drive and know-how to make decisions in the synthesis of financial information from across the council & wider partners
Strong attention to detail-essential
Proven experience in dealing with contractors, partner organisations & wider stakeholder groups, local residents & members of the wider public
Proven experience & demonstrable management & leadership of data design, management & use within the community hubs programme
Ability to produce high-quality report & visualisations to communicate different options to a range of stakeholders
Experience of developing & delivering financial options & models
High level understanding & significant experience of communities
Ability to produce high quality technical briefs & experience of using procurement processes
Ability to work flexibly
