Special Educational Needs Data Officer
We are looking for a Special Educational Needs Data Officer: To be responsible for ensuring reliable and accurate systems are in place for the monitoring and collection of all SEND Data (including SEN2 data and data relating to performance indicators). Responsible for producing the source data, for calculation and compilation and for the maintenance of appropriate records to support audit:
Responsibilities:
To produce a regular up to date SEND Data Dashboard or similar for SEND strategic board: Comparing LA performance with national and statistical neighbours, as well as showing trends over time.
Qualification – Essential

GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE’S including English & maths
Degree level or equivalent, NVQ level or relevant experience
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel, Outlook
Essential – Skills, Abilities & Experience
Detailed knowledge of recent legislation related to Statutory Assessments of SEN
Knowledge of SEN school based systems and policies
Understanding of the issues relating to pupils with SEN
Knowledge and understanding of the necessity of financial control required for SEN funding
Demonstrable experience of working in an educational environment with children of school age and their families
Experience of working in a multi-ethnic environment
Experience of working and liaising with other agencies in a multi-disciplinary setting
Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of maintaining manual and computerised databases
Experience of establishing and monitoring procedures relating to Statements / EHC Plans of SEN
DBS Clearance – required for this role
Able to provide Three Years of references -Essential
