Web Content Co-ordinator
We are looking for a Web Content Co-ordinator; to work collaboratively with the Web Content Manager to provide web and content management support, and to implement the content strategy and plans for the Education websites (Corporate site, Services for Schools, Centre and Intranet);
Responsibilities:
To ensuring that web content is relevant, of a high standard, factual and editorial accuracy, up to date, consistent, concise, optimised for SEO (mobile-first) and accessible to all users:
Qualification – Essential

GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE’S including English & maths
A relevant Professional Qualification
Advanced knowledge of: Drupal/LAMP developer, Advanced PHP & MySQL, HTML/CSS/AJAX/JavaScript,
Apache Server, Linux, Web & Front-End Developer
Essential – Skills, Abilities & Experience
Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of writing for the web
Proven expertise in web design and the use of web content management systems
Strong experience of developing editorial guidelines for writing for the web
Recent experience of working within a multi-discipline web team, and acting as the conduit between communications and other teams
Knowledge of other relevant areas of expertise such as copywriting, web programming and photography
Good understanding of web standards, accessibility, usability and web content management processes
Proven delivery of public websites using Drupal
Good experience of working in a web publishing environment, including formatting content for digital production
Strong experience of creating, editing and proofing copy for the web
Good experience in managing digital assets, including video and images using a content management system
Knowledge of the latest trends in public sector web content design and government digital service design standards.
Knowledge and experience in a digital content marketing environment
Able to provide three Years of references -Essential
