DBR03730 Service Improvement Manager

We are looking for a Service Improvement Manager who has the experience and ability to review and write a series of reports in Business Objectives for the Children's Social Care Division.
Responsibilities:
To Identify opportunities for service improvement based on performance reporting. Liaise with service directorate leadership to develop a plan for growth based on underperforming Key Performance Indicators, or otherwise qualitative or quantitative evidence that demonstrates improvement is required;
Qualification – Essential:
GCSE/O Level, 5 GCSE'S including English & maths
Educated to degree level or a relevant professional qualification
Advanced / PowerUser in SQL, PowerBI and Excel
Advanced –Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint or Adobe, Outlook and Social Media
Essential – Skills, Abilities & Experience
Knowledge of local government services, context and challenges
Detailed understanding of performance improvement tools and their practical application
Proficient in SQL, PowerBI and Excel
Knowledge of Local government service delivery area
Experience of working flexibly and ensuring workflow and allocation of resources meets priority demands
Proven track record of building relationships and working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders
Able to demonstrate knowledge of Business Objects report writing is essential to this role
Experience of completing Annex A for Ofsted inspections is essential
Working for a previous Local authority in children's social care is essential
Working with an Oracle database and with Mosaic is essential
Knowledge of working in an environment where influence, negotiation and persuasion are significant levers
Knowledge of commissioning projects and programmes of work
Experience of producing high-quality performance reporting, interpreting data and delivering insight
Experience of working in highly complex and political environments
Experience in leading, delivering and monitoring service improvement programmes, including service design and user-experience design
