We are looking for Information Governance Assistant, to assist with the provision of prompt and effective support for all aspects of information and records management through the consistent application of Information Management and Records Management policies and procedures:

Responsibilities:
To apply effective information handling procedures, including those procedures required to manage formal information access requests, for example, requests made under Data Protection, Freedom of Information and other relevant legislation and regulation:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Relevant Degree or Equivalent Level Qualification – or
NVQ Business Administration Level 3, BTEC or equivalent experience in a related role
Advanced information management database user
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel, Outlook & social Media
Essential – Skills, Abilities & Experience
Proven knowledge and understanding of the techniques for identifying, gathering and validating users' needs in the delivery of IT services
Advanced knowledge of the application of automated (software) tools which enable selective access to information used to document process information within an organisations
Good aware of techniques which help in modelling and understanding a business and its operation
Proven understanding of the standards, practices, and appraisal and certification programs associated with the IT practitioner's current role
Proven knowledge of configuration management and version control
Good understanding of the uses appropriate methods, tools and applications
Demonstrates a rational and organised approach to work
Must have sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with users, suppliers and partners
Proven experience of working in the large organisational team
Able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within short time horizons
Must be able to absorb new information when it is presented systematically and applies it effectively
