We are looking for Digital Programme Manager, to plan, direct and coordinate activities to manage and implement multiple interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage and to ensure that the programmes are managed to maximise business benefits for a public sector client in North West London:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
To lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting activities for large and multiple projects and provide expert advice regarding specific technical specialists in ICT/digital services. To control resources and all costs against project budget, ensuring systems solutions is delivered within planned cost, timescale and resource budgets, and to troubleshoot problem areas. To work flexibly across the Shared Digital Service which comprises three inner London boroughs:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE’s, Grades A-C or equivalent to include Maths and English
Degree in technology subject or equivalent experience
Project management qualifications (APM, Prince2, and Agile) or equivalent experience
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel & Outlook
Essential – Skills, Abilities & Experience
Extensive knowledge and experience of Project Management methodologies-essential
Experience of Transformation and Change programmes
Experience of the full project management life cycle and software development life cycle for the implementation of highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives
Evidence of delivering projects to successful completion through political sensitivity
Full understanding of the information lifecycle
Familiarity with the security standards and all relevant legislation that affects security within the defined scope of authority
Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects and working with senior teams in large organisations
Have experience of dealing with external contractors, negotiating and contract management as well as engaging, flexible resource as required to support delivery
Have up to date knowledge of Local Government services, procurement, project financial management and project governance
Able to communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately, both in oral and written
Able to be innovative with processes or solutions and ensure that all processes are subject to continuous improvement
Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where required
Experience of working under pressure and adhering to agreed deadlines
Able to provide Two Years of references – required
