DBR03683 SEND Provision Funding Consultant

We are looking for a SEND Provision Funding Consultant to ensure that all information is available when deciding on making changes in response to the recommendations from the Co-Design Group for a public sector client in East London;

Responsibilities
To comprehensively model and test new SEND provision funding model from recommendations made by a stakeholder group; so that the Cabinet can consider the financial and other implications of such a change, and the options for implementation:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Degree level or equivalent, or relevant experience
Advanced ECDL –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Adobe, Outlook and Social Media
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential

Advanced knowledge of the SEND practise framework legislation and the related role of local authorities
Experience of achieving intended outcomes for teams and the organisation
Experience of working with senior management structures, including local authority politicians and Lead Members
Able to give details explanations, citing relevant work experience examples, of occasions where you have led a piece of work that involved sophisticated modelling and scenario analysis
Able to provide explanations, citing relevant work experience examples, of how you have acquired an advanced knowledge of SEND legislation and the SEND responsibilities of local government
Please provide explanations, citing relevant work experience examples, of occasions where you have been responsible for writing papers to senior public managers/leaders on policy change items
Experience of writing and presenting policy and strategy and recommending appropriate future action
The ability to undertake sophisticated modelling and scenario analysis
The ability to influence and shape local agendas
The ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines and to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
Ability to use ICT systems and conventional systems, to manage information, prioritise resources and produce analytical reports
Experience of overseeing and driving complex projects to completion
Experience of leading focus groups and consultations
Enhanced CRB/DBS; on the disclosure & barring service update system
Able to provide Five Years of references – essential
