DBR03682 Data Quality Officer

We are looking for a Data Quality Officer to lead work on reporting, analysis and data quality for a public sector client in North West London; To act as an expert user of Adult Social Care information systems, receiving complex data from a variety of sources, processing this to ensure that the data is captured clearly and accurately on the Adults & Health Business Systems. To support the development of operational staff and team in the area of expertise:

Responsibilities
To support Performance and Improvement, and to identify data that needs to be captured to ensure business processes can run effectively and statutory and operational reporting needs are met:

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
Degree level or equivalent, e.g. NVQ level 4 &/or relevant experience
Skilled knowledge of Mosaic software is essential.
Knowledge of Business Objects software desirable.
Advanced ECDL –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Adobe, Outlook and Social Media

Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential

Experience working with Mosaic (Database) & Project Management experience is essential to this
Advanced knowledge of database interrogation tools such as Business Objects, SQL and other software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and influencing people
Experience of data manipulation and analysis
Good knowledge of a broad range of Local government roles and functions
Significant experience of working with databases and data capture systems
Knowledge of the adult social care operating environment
Experience of working within a performance management context
Working knowledge of the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and other relevant data management legislation
Good understanding of business processes and knowledge and experience of working with business processes effectively
Good knowledge of project management approach and techniques essential. Project management qualification, desirable.
Previous experience in a similar role
Advanced / PowerUser knowledge of Microsoft Office is – essential
Knowledge of iPad/iPhone users would be helpful.
Enhanced CRB/DBS; on the disclosure & barring service update system
Able to provide Three Years of references – essential
