We are looking for an ICT Service Desk administrative and clerical help in our busy Service Desk team within the ICT Department to use the relevant IT systems used on the Service desk.

Responsibilities
To receive and log service desk calls from internal customers and accurately transcribe the details of the problem/issue on the service desk ticketing system (Freshdesk).

Qualification – Essential

GCSE Grade A-C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Promoting Independence
or Health and Social Care or a willingness and ability to obtain the qualification
Advanced ECDL –Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Adobe, Outlook and Social Media
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential

Allocate tickets to the appropriate member of staff.
Monitor and update tickets as and when required.
Undertake password resets.
Update the hardware inventory with accurate details.
Prepare and issue iPads and iPhones following detailed procedures.
Liaise with external suppliers with reference to purchase ordering and payments.
Updating data lists, spreadsheets, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
Personal contact with internal customers and Elected Members to log service desk tickets.
Administer training room bookings.
Customer Service skills must be excellent with the ability to
Use the phone to communicate effectively
Accurately log details of what is said on the service desk ticketing system
Articulate verbally ensuring the information is correct and accurate
Strong written skills
Understand and transcribe details
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Strong administration and clerical skills also essential.
Ability to follow set procedures accurately.
Ability to create and document procedures.
Computer literate, with some IT skills to offer, ability to pick up and learn new IT skills on the job.
Advanced Word, Excel, and Outlook – Office 2016/Office 365 skills are required.
Knowledge of iPad/iPhone usage would be helpful.
Enhanced CRB/DBS; on the disclosure & barring service update system
Able to provide Three Years of references – essential
