We are recruiting a Digital Project Manager for a public sector client in Hampshire: To Work with the Digital Programme Manager to initiate, manage and successfully deliver a variety of projects which form part of the Digital Transformation Programme. These projects are core to the Digital strategic priorities and may be complex and have significant interdependencies:
Responsibilities
In line with the Corporate Programme Management Office (CPMO), develop project planning documentation and budgets to aid effective implementation. Ensure that projects are delivered to scope, within budget and to agreed timeframes.
Lead significant procurement exercises for new systems or capabilities and Lead multiple project teams; allocating and monitoring tasks, motivating staff and appraising individual performance:
Qualification – Essential

GCSE’s, Grades A-C or equivalent to include Maths and English
Degree in technology subject or equivalent experience
Project management qualifications (APM, Prince2, and Agile) or equivalent experience
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel & Outlook
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential

Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects and working with senior teams in large organisations
Experience of managing and developing staff, including the establishment of a positive performance culture that has delivered effective performance and continuous service improvement
Have experience of dealing with external contractors, negotiating and contract management as well as engaging, flexible resource as required to support delivery
Have up to date knowledge of Local Government services, procurement, project financial management and project governance
Significant experience in one or more of the following specialist areas:- Customer Relationship, Management Systems
Web Content Management Systems, Document Management Systems
Able to communicate information and ideas clearly and accurately, both in oral and written form
Able to Achieves results in quality, in a timely and cost-effective way. Sets priorities and plans monitors progress
Able to be innovative with processes or solutions and ensure that all processes are subject to continuous improvement
Able to identify and promote their strengths and the strengths of others while recommending areas for improvement where required
Excellent computer literacy and familiar with Microsoft desktop applications
Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where required
Experience of working under pressure and adhering to agreed deadlines
Enhanced CRB/DBS; on the disclosure & barring service update system
Able to provide Three Years of references – required
