We are selecting a Recruitment Administrator for a public sector client: to provide high quality, customer-focused support service by proactively building relationships with internal customers and a range of partners to deliver an efficient and effective service.
Working within the team to deliver an end to end recruitment Admin support to the hiring managers through planning and supporting recruitment activities – vacancy postings, recruitment enquiries, supporting agency recruitment, pre-employment screening, and new starter inductions undertaking pre-employment checks for new starters.
Qualification – Essential
GCSE’s, Grades A-C or equivalent to include Maths and English
Educated to degree level or equivalent standard
Knowledge of recruitment and selection of best practice
Sound knowledge of recruitment processes and employment legislation
CIPD Qualified or willing to study
Advanced – Microsoft; Word, PowerPoint, – Excel & Outlook – essential
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
Successful experience of undertaking recruitment admin activities in a large complex organisation
Experience of supporting recruitment assignments and projects targeting customer needs
Proven experience of carrying out pre-employment screening activities.
Strong experience of developing and maintaining high quality administrative and information systems
Experience in fully utilising ICT-CRM (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and recruitment packages) to support the business including monitoring reports
Experience of integrating the principles of equal opportunity and diversity considerations into all recruitment and assessment services
Ability to draft recruitment advertisements and job packs, letters and contracts of employment
Ability to communicate effectively in person with a wide range of internal and external contacts including managers applicants, potential employees, service managers and advertising agencies and media
Ability to engender trust and confidence and demonstrate probity and integrity in the provision of advice and support
Ability to research, prepare and present information clearly and concisely in writing and verbally
Ability to undertake multi recruitment assignments within deadlines
Enhanced CRB on the Disclosure & Barring Service update system
Able to provide three years references
