Job Title: Housing Project Manager
Salary: £200.16 Per Day PAYE
Location: East London
Hours: 36.00 hours per week
Duration: Min 6 months – extension on performance
Our Client in East London is recruiting a Housing Project Manager: To deliver good project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE 2), aimed at achieving consistent and high-quality service:
Qualification – Essential
5 GCSE’s including English and Maths or equivalent
Housing qualification or on the job experience of working as a Housing Officer
Evidence of continuous professional development
Advanced IT –Microsoft; Projects or Prince2
Skills, Abilities & Experience – Essential
Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor projects and programmes of work,
Strong ability to provide vision and direction to individuals and teams
Ability to empower and motivate people and contribute to effective teams
Ability to lead by example, effectively delegate and achieve objectives.
Ability to think laterally and develop creative and innovative solutions to problems
Strong ability to establish positive relationships
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary construction sector environment and to acquire new skills and knowledge, with a commitment to learning
Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams effectively and to prioritise own workload and to define, specify, manage and monitor challenging project outcomes and goals
Good ability to manage control budgets and information systems
Knowledge and understanding of principles, tools and techniques used for managing change
Ability to identify, develop and exploit opportunities for enhancing the benefit to the residents via partnering working relationships with the constructors and other stakeholders
Good written and presentation skills and the ability to negotiate effectively
Experience of using ICT to analyse and present information to a high standard
